AcuGraph was used to measure the energy levels of 16 participants before and after a short, informal Pranic Healing session.

AcuGraph is a digital meridian imaging system that measures and analyzes the energy balance (electrical conductivity) in acupuncture meridians to provide a visual assessment of a person’s energetic state. This information is then used to assess the balance and flow of energy (Qi or Prana) in the body’s meridians, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles. Specifically, AcuGraph provides detail on:

  • Energy Level: The measurements reflect the amount of energy flowing through each meridian. High readings may suggest excess energy, while low readings may indicate deficiency.
  • Balance: AcuGraph compares the measurements from the left and right sides of the body to assess the balance of energy between the meridians. Imbalances can suggest potential health issues.
  • Flow: The measurements can also indicate how smoothly energy is flowing through the meridians. Blockages or disruptions in energy flow can contribute to health problems.

AcuGraph results are summarized in a Personal Integrated Energetic or P.I.E. Score, which reflects overall energetic balance and integration. Higher scores are better.

The change in P.I.E. Scores after Pranic Healing was significant. For the 16 participants, initial P.I.E. Scores ranged from 46 (Low) to 77 (Very Good), with an average of 55.6 (Typical). After Pranic Healing, P.I.E. Scores ranged from 67 (Typical) to 94 (Very Good), averaging 82.5 (Very Good).

In other words, a short Pranic Healing session resulted in an average increase of almost 30 points on P.I.E. Score – from the “Typical” range to “Very Good” – as measured by AcuGraph.

The images below show one participant’s AcuGraph measurements before and after their 10 minute Pranic Healing session.

All AcuGraph readings were taken by Dr. Fazeli, an advanced Pranic Healer experienced with the device. Measurements of the finger tips and toes of participants’ left and right hands and feet generated readings for the lungs, pericardium, heart, small intestine, large intestine, triple energizer, spleen, liver, kidney, bladder, gall bladder and stomach.

Several people mentioned specific conditions – liver & kidney issues, for example – and their pre-healing AcuGraph measurements showed weakness in those areas.

Healings were approximately 10 – 15 minutes, for general health & wellness, performed by 4 different Pranic Healers. The healers used varying Pranic Healing techniques and protocols, based upon what their clients requested. Three of the four healed with their hands; one healer used a Pranic Healing laser crystal.

This short, very informal analysis suggests that Pranic Healing may have a positive impact on energy levels, and adds to the growing body of evidence supporting the potential benefits of Pranic Healing for promoting well-being and energetic balance.
